When is the best time to schedule my newborn portrait session?
The best time to schedule your session is before your little one is born. This way you can rest assured that your newborn photo shoot will occur within 7-10 days after birth, the very best time to get the sweetest photographs! Let’s make sure that we have your session tentatively on the calendar before the birth so that you don’t have to think about it once the baby is born.

How do I book without knowing my session date?
We don't know when baby's true due date will be until they are here.  I like to prebook newborn sessions for baby's due date.  You will fill out a booking link and send over a deposit to give you priority scheduling.  Once your baby is born, all you have to do is send me an email or text and from there we’ll schedule a definitive session date and time within the first 5-10 days of your baby’s arrival.

How soon should I have my newborn session after giving birth?
The sooner the better! Newborns tend to stay sound asleep a few days after birth and because of this we are able to gently move your little one into sweet poses. After a couple of weeks, this is not as easy to do. After the 12 day mark, babies begin to stretch and the poses won’t be as easy to accomplish.

Can I incorporate sibling and family photos with my baby?
Absolutely! Photographing your little one surrounded by family is an incredible experience for everyone involved. Make sure to let me know when booking your session that you would like siblings to join so I can prepare sets.

How long will my newborn photography session take?
Your session will take between 1.5-2.5 hours. This  allows time for feeding and changing. The atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable and the pace of your session will be determined by the baby.

How much do newborn sessions cost?
Your newborn session fee of $350 includes your session time and around 30 uniquely edited images for you to review in your online gallery.

What is the best way to pay for my session?
You can pay for your session on Zelle (preferred), Venmo or pay in cash the day of your photoshoot.

My baby is already born, am I too late to schedule a Newborn Session?
If I have an opening in my calendar I am happy to accommodate. I really love to take newborn pictures 5-10 days after birth. After that, some of the most adorable poses aren’t as easy to achieve.

What is the turn around on my images?
You will receive your images  2 weeks from your session date and be able to view them in an online gallery set up just for you!

Where do the studio sessions take place?
Your session will take place in my home in Yorba Linda, California. (North Orange County) Just bring yourself and your little bundle of joy and rest assured that the studio is fully stocked with all the necessary props, toiletries and snacks to keep you comfortable throughout your session.

Who supplies all the props, wraps, outfits and hats/headbands for the baby?
I do! In my studio you will find a large supply of hats, headbands and wraps that we will use.

What should we wear for the family pictures?
I want you to feel comfortable so I suggest wearing clothes that you can move freely in. I also recommend soft toned, solid colors, avoiding loud prints and patterns so that we can keep the focus on the family members. I have found that many of my clients prefer a light and airy look with soft and muted colors.

Do you offer cake smash sessions?
I am not offering cake smash sessions at this time.

What happens after my session?
After your session, we will discuss when you can expect your photographs to be available for viewing in your online gallery. The way I share your digital album is through a link. You will be able to view and download your newborn or family album at that time. I will send you an email as well as text you a link to your album.

What is the best way to order prints?
I suggest ordering prints from a computer. The images I send are large, full resolution photos. First download the images to your computer and then upload to your preferred photo center. If you try this from a phone, the resolution will be too low since the image you see on your phone will be a preview and not a full resolution download.
